The rules of "Où est le Poulet?", the game Chicken Rush was heavily inspired by, are as follows:
Everyone puts some money in a pot, usually £10-20.
Draw names out of a hat to form teams, with the last name donning a giant chicken costume.
If you decline the honour, there is a forfeit of the group's choice.
The Chicken gets the pot of money, buys everyone a drink, and goes to secure a pub or bar within the pre-determined boundaries of play. No entry fee or food-only venues allowed!
All teams must finish their first drink before departing the starting pub in search of the chicken.
The Chicken drinks through the pot of money and must answer all queries with "What chicken costume?"
When a team finds the Chicken, they get to join in drinking through the pot of money.
The Chicken may post clues on a group chat at any time and must do so 30 minutes after the penultimate team has found the Chicken.
It's also known as The Chicken Chase, One Giant Chicken, The Fox Hunt, The Duck Hunt and many others... Including Chicken Rush.
Chicken Rush is a supercharged version of Où Est Le Poulet with GPS tracking, live maps, and explosive weapons.
