Welcome to Chicken Rush – the real-world experience that brings hide and seek to the streets of your city. By registering or participating in a Chicken Rush event (the "Game"), you agree to the terms below.
1. 📅 Booking & Payment
- Full payment for an agreed minimum number of players is required to confirm your booking.
- Player count can be increased at any time up to the event day.
- Extra players on the day must be paid for before the game is played.
2. ❌ Refunds & Cancellations
- 14+ days prior: Full refund
- 7–13 days prior: 50% refund
- <7 days: No refund
- Force majeure: We may reschedule or partially refund at our discretion.
3. 🏢 Venues & Pre-Booked Costs
- Venue deposits, pre-orders, or minimum spend guarantees are non-refundable if you cancel.
- You're liable for additional venue costs due to last-minute changes.
4. 👥 Standard (Self-Run) vs In-Person Chicken Rush Host
- Self-Run: No staff present. You accept full responsibility and must ensure you have any necessary insurance.
- In-Person Host: Chicken Rush Staff present, standard liability applies.
5. 💸 Payments & Late Fees
- Extra charges (e.g. unpaid added players) are due within 7 days.
- Late fees: 5% per 7 days overdue.
6. 🚗 Safety & Player Conduct
You agree to:
- Be aware of your surroundings at all times.
- Obey the law, traffic rules, signage, and boundaries.
- Respect your limits and stay safe.
- Avoid excessive intoxication. We may remove you if you're unsafe.
7. 🎥 Filming & Consent
By joining a Chicken Rush game or event, you consent to being filmed and photographed for promotional purposes.
- If you prefer not to appear in footage, please contact [email protected] before the game.
8. 📍 Third-Party Venues
- We use venues like pubs and bars, but don’t control their staff or policies.
- Entry is at their discretion. Follow their rules and be respectful.
9. 📱 Tech Use & Privacy
- A charged smartphone is required.
- Don’t use your phone dangerously (e.g. crossing roads).
- We collect basic contact details (name, email, team) for gameplay and safety.
- We won’t sell or misuse your data. See our Privacy Policy.
10. ⚠️ Risks & Liability
By playing Chicken Rush, you accept that:
- It involves physical activity, public navigation, and possible alcohol consumption.
- Risks include injury from falls, traffic, weather, or interaction with the public.
- Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
We are not liable for:
- Injuries or property damage unless due to our negligence.
- Lost or stolen items.
- Third-party venue issues or force majeure events.
Nothing excludes our liability for death or serious injury caused by proven negligence.
11. 👶 Under 18s
If you’re under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
12. 🧠 Code of Conduct
- Respect fellow players, bystanders, and staff.
- No abuse, harassment, hate speech, or disruptive behaviour.
- Don’t interfere with public spaces or private property.
- Follow our Player Guidelines.
