How to Play
Whether it's your birthday or you're in charge of the office party, here's how the chaos unfolds.
Gather the Squad
Get a group of 8 or more together. Perfect for stags, hens, birthdays or just a Sunday session.
Chicken Select
Select who's going to be the Chicken. Usually the Groom, Birthday Girl, or the loudest one in the group.
The Escape
The Chicken runs off to hide, getting a 5-minute headstart. They can go anywhere within the game zone.
The Circle
The Chicken is tracked via GPS, with a large circle around their location on everyone's phones.
The Shrink
The circle shrinks every 2 minutes around their hiding spot, slowly revealing their location. It's Battle Royale style.
Where's that chicken?
Chasers race to find the Chicken's hiding spot. (Psst: the hiding spot is usually a pub or bar, sometimes groups use cafes and landmarks too).
Brand New Power-ups
Pick up items along the way to sabotage other teams (Bomb rivals) or help your team (use a chicken-guided Compass).
The Rush
The main aim is to find the Chicken first. This earns you 100 points and eternal glory.
Cheeky Challenges
Gain extra points by completing photo tasks (e.g. "Human Pyramid" or "Convince a stranger to...") along the way.
The Winner
Once the time limit is up, the team with the most points wins! We usually tally up in the pub.
